EXCLUSIVE! Sinitta 'Greatest Hits' Details!

This September sees the release of Sinitta's long overdue and eagerly awaited debut official UK greatest hits album. Taking the title from her 1989 smash hit single; "Right Back Where We Started From - The Hits Plus Collection" is a comprehensive anthology of Sinitta's recording career from 1986 until the present day.

Every hit single is included along with some new recordings and some very rare and never before released mixes and songs - including those much-talked-about Stock Aitken Waterman-produced Sinitta tracks currently on our own audio player!

The forthcoming double CD album has been fully developed by PMG Music and is being released by Cherry Pop Records in association with Sony Music Entertainment. Each track has been fully digitally remastered directly from the original master recordings and the entire album has been painstakingly researched by the same team who brought you the Lonnie Gordon, Mandy Smith and Princess Cherry Pop re-issues earlier this year!

This first digital instalment sees all of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan's classic PWL albums from the late 1980s and early 1990s being made available to you via a download service FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! along with much sought-after single releases by Jason Donovan, Carol Hitchcock and The Twins!
What's more, all these titles have been released WORLDWIDE wherever the i-Tunes service is in operation! (Except NZ and Australia).
Following many requests to have these pop masterpieces released digitally, we are now preparing our next wave of uploads - including some EXCLUSIVE previously-unreleased gems that you won't want to miss!

PWE Audio Player - Updated With Even MORE Exclusives!

With all of the excitement of the PWE back-catalogue going digital, we have decided to add snippets of some of the tracks we have added, or are going to add, to iTunes over the next few weeks!
First up is A PREVIOUSLY UNHEARD mix of Lonnie Gordon's 'That's No Reason'. This track was included on her debut album (and featured on our recent Cherry Red re-issue), however lack of space on the CD meant that we couldn't include this version - hence we are going to be giving this mix a very special digital-only release along with some other Lonnie Gordon mixes that can't be purchased anywhere else! We are sure that you are going to love it just as much as we do!
Next up is the ORIGINAL 7" mix of 'All Mixed Up' by The Twins. For many years this particular track has been much sought-after by fans of Stock Aitken Waterman due to its immense rarity. In the past CD single copies of this release have changed hands for up to £200 each! We are pleased to say that this track will now be much-more widely available at a price that everyone can afford - and what's more, there are MORE mixes available!
Finally, we have included a snippet from the backing track version of Kylie Minogue's 'Better The Devil You Know'.
ALL of Kylie's PWL singles are currently being added to the iTunes store and will feature a wealth of previously unheard mixes and versions of her biggest and best Stock Aitken Waterman hits! In addition to this we are also going to be treating Kylie fans to some other treasures from the vaults!

2009 looks like being a great year for Stock Aitken Waterman, PWL and PWE re-issues!
A couple of months back we exclusively revealed that we were preparing to re-release on CD much sought-after albums by Lonnie Gordon, Mandy Smith and Princess in conjunction with the Cherry Pop label.
THE WAIT IS NOW FINALLY OVER!
OUT NOW each re-mastered CD includes an extensive CD booklet containing full lyrics, additional photos and discography plus a brand new essay from PWL expert Tom Parker, who as many of you will know, was responsible for several past Kylie Minogue releases.
The brilliant reaction to this trio of Cherry Pop-tastic re-releases also means that we have already started making plans for a series of follow-ups!

Pete Waterman's Latest Release!

Although more used to releasing hit records, on September 4th 2008 Pete Waterman released his second book! Entitled 'A Train Is For Life' the book explores Pete's undying passion for trains!
This stunning book celebrates Pete Waterman's lifelong love affair with the railways, and railway modelling in particular. Although well known as the successful record producer and pop impresario, Pete is now also widely recognised as being a major figure in the world of locomotives. Pete's interest started young as a train spotter on Leamington Spa station and later working on the railways as a fireman. His huge and enduring success in the music business has enabled him to pursue his hobby on a grand scale, buying a number of model making companies which have taken the art of locomotive modelling to new heights.
Pete's publishers, Ian Allan Publishing, arranged for him to take part in a number of successful book signing sessions up and down the country to promote the book's launch and his publishers also set up an official 'MySpace' page for him to help fans keep track of his movements during this time.

Pete's Star Is Unveiled On Coventry's 'Walk Of Fame'

The people of Coventry have chosen the first ten names for Coventry's Walk of Fame - and our very own Pete Waterman is amongst them!
The Walk of Fame celebrates people who have brought the city recognition at national or international level. Although recipients did not necessarily have to be Coventry born, they must have had a strong connection with the city.
In an unprecedented public ballot, over 3000 people voted for their favourites and in May 2008 Pete attended a ceremony where the final Walk of Fame plaques were revealed. The ten plaques, which were made by Leander Architectural, were set down in their new home, Priory Place, on Tuesday, May 13 at 10am.
Other recipients of the award included The Specials, Mo Mowlam, jet pioneer Sir Frank Whittle and Lady Godiva! Excellent photographic coverage of this event is available here whilst video footage of the ceremony can be viewed by clicking on this link.
